Ocean Power makes mass-produced seawater
desalination systems, powered by fuell cells. These systems purify

[Noticed in 2-01 that they're no longer
traded.] NSA International, Inc. sells consumer products, including
nutritional products, air and water filtration systems and a sparkling
water system, using multi-level and/or direct selling marketing

REIN - Recovery Engineering
[Noticed in 2-01 that they're no longer
listed.] Recovery Engineering designs and manufactures small-scale
treatment systems for drinking water. Marketed under the brand name
PUR, the products include desalinators for offshore marine, commercial
life raft, and military use; portable systems for international
travelers and outdoor enthusiasts; and water filters for residential
use. PUR household filters are either tap-filled, pour-through systems
(pitchers, dispensers) or in-line systems that are connected to water
lines (faucet-mounted, on counters, or under sinks). Products are sold
by such US and Canadian retailers as Wal-Mart, Sears, and Target. The
company is being sued for patent infringement by Brita and by a

traded.] TRON is engaged in the design, manufacture and sale of
equipment to improve the quality of indoor air in the consumer,
residential, commercial and industrial markets.
VLPI - Vital Living Products
[Noticed in Dec. 2004 that their stock
symbol was no longer listed, and there's no mention of a new stock
symbol on their website.] VLPI manufactures and distributes
PurTest home water testing kits, winner of the 2000 Consumer Product
Award. PurTest, available worldwide, was recently
classified as one of the fastest growing water products in
America. VLPI provides PurGuard Ultraviolet Water
Disinfection equipment for residential, commercial and industrial
use.The PurTest product line, which retails from $4.99 to $29.99, is
the only water test kit line endorsed by Good Housekeeping, Consumers
Digest and Today's Home Owner magazines plus the American Quality
