"corporate responsibility" section of their page, they have subsections
on the
environment, business
ethics and diversity.
They donate money to fight breast cancer and domestic violence. (RS,

Responsible for health and beauty care products
such as green tea-based fat burning supplements, whitening gel and a

Makes healthcare products such as ACT
mouthwash, Arthritis HOT, Bullfrog sunscreen, Cortizone-10, IcyHot, and

CRASY.PK - Clarins
A French cosmetics company. They have an annual
"Most Dynamic Woman Award" to recognize women who have spent their
lives helping children in need. They also have an environment
page detailing the measures they take not to damage the
environment. There they note that, "In 1987, Clarins was the first
French company to stop all product testing on animals." (RS, 6-08)
EL - Estee Lauder
Don't let the French-sounding name fool you.
Estee Lauder is a cosmetics company based in New York. They say they
have a commitment to the environment: "As we see it, our
responsibilities to a sustainable world are twofold: Maintaining our
own "house" in a way that reduces negative impact on the environment;
Extending our influence as active members of the sustainability
movement to people, projects and causes outside our own Company." (RS,

A Paris-based cosmetics company. Under the
"Citizenship" section of their site, they say, "While our industry is
neither a significant consumer of natural resources nor a major
polluter, L'Oréal deeply respects our environment and has rigorous
policies and procedures in place to reduce the company's environmental
impact. L'Oréal USA supports many local and national not-for-profit
organizations that benefit the lives of underserved communities. The
Charitable Giving program is focused primarily on the health,
education, and the advancement and well-being of women of all ages."

They make needle-free rapid oral tests for
detecting illegal drugs or HIV in the system. They also have a product

USA
A Tokyo-based cosmetics company and one of the
oldest cosmetics companies in the world, as it was founded in 1872. In
1989, Shiseido helped to jointly create The Massachusetts General
Hospital-Harvard Cutaneous Biology Research Center, a comprehensive
