Friends of KOOP Radio is composed of station volunteers and members who are alarmed by the actions of the Board of Trustees and who feel it is time to elect new station leadership. We represent the majority of the people who do the work of keeping the station going and who attend station meetings. (Not every member of Friends of KOOP may agree with everything on this website, but we are all agreed that it's time for a new station leadership.)
By the way, Community Board chair Eduardo Vera has repeatedly criticized Friends of KOOP for being a "nebulous" group and that "nobody knows who's in Friends of KOOP". In point fact, we've always been very open about who we are. Our very first mailing to the KOOP membership was signed by a long list of supporters (including most of those listed below), and this "Who We Are" page was one of the very first pages we added to this website when we started it. Another bizarre attack by Eduardo on our credibility.
